Enom Now Auctioning it's Expired Names Through Snapnames.com
Also from Anthony and certainly worth mentioning.. Enom expiring name inventory is being auctioned through Snapnames effective today.. Congrats to Taryn and Nelson .. Nice move for both parties, and a funny little aside.. you guys use exactly the same bank in Silicon Valley, so you've just saved me hundreds of dollars in duplicate monthly wire charges. :) Thanks!
Snapnames runs a first class auction clearinghouse. Enom found a great partner.
***FS*** Update: Enom is only offering “Transfer Fulfillment” names through Snapnames; Club Drop will still function as always.. Thanks!
eNom stop Club Drop?

How is this good news? I guess they won't give people anymore time to renew their names if they miss the expiration date by a few days. They already screw people enough with their late renewal fees. Even Godaddy is more lenient!
***FS*** The proprietors are reading your comments :)

This is a wise and prescient move for both companies.
I'm unfamiliar w/the eNom people, but the Snap folks are great.
Congrats to both firms.

bad bad news for me as a little guy. Enom was the last place where you could get good domains for really cheap.

Does this mean ENOM is totally ending Club Drop or just modifying it for only Enom registered names ?

I would like Godaddy makes similar deal and maybe Pool too, everything at same place at same time, best support, best auction system - domainers dream.
