Best advice?
When possible, locate and buy your domains from those companies and individuals who willingly disclose their ownership--including an accurate phone number--in the WhoIs.
***FS*** As prices escalate, certainty of title is becoming more and more of a problem.. Clearly best to buy from owners where you can validate title chain. Chalk this up to another 'huge' growth business.. escrow and title insurance (chain of title records keeping) for domains.

Much of this business would dry up, however, if direct navigation users would simply learn how to use search engines. We can only hope. Or, Web browser makers could kill the business overnight if they stopped trying to guess the user’s destination, and instead used the keywords to open a search engine query so the user could choose a real destination.
Frank do you believe this iditotic article "worthless and he has parked domains total moron. IMO

Sedo record is lamentable.
There system is incapable of even displaying most legitimate IDNs but they have handled and frankly even encouraged a spate of sales in phishing IDN.
