Holly moly.. I sure hope not.
I once considered moving all my names there.. They were quite well run at that time (pre Baker Capital investment). I kind of lost touch with what was going on there after the PE guys came in.. Again, just conjecture at this point, but I post because I have had people from Dotster recently ask me for jobs.
Could be coincidence.. or the private equity guys could be restructuring the important stuff to siphon out some dividends .. Whatever it is, you should always pay your renewals in advance, just in case. Had I moved all my names there and read the post linked above, I'd be freaking, getting on a plane for Portland right now.
I trust you with my names and I trust me, but I'm not so sure about you ;) Get your own registrar.
I'm moving 5 names out now, but have 4 more stuck there (via snap's mydomain registrar connection) thanks to ICANN's stupid 60 day rule.
