A simple way to remember DG's formula is to multiply estimated daily clicks by 1000. For example:

2 estimated clicks/day = 2,000 universal searches / month
20 estimated clicks/day = 20,000 universal searches / month
200 estimated clicks/day = 200,000 universal searches / month
