Domaining History

http://www.whizzbangsblog.com/content/view/255/86/#jc_writeComment

MgI love this post on Michael Gilmour's blog because it reminds me of my own story..  There are thousands of stories like this in the domain business..  from the ones where a registrant sold one single domain name and walked away from the space, all the way up to those where domainers became very big and thrived beyond anyone's wildest dreams.

The dichotomy between Michael's post and this one explaining "why it's too late for you" is striking.

So are all of us new into the industry out of luck? I've had some success so far (although certainly nothing to brag about). There are still great deals sitting around untouched if you can figure out how to grab them up.

Frank,
Many thanks for your continued encouragement for the industry and in particular whizzbangsblog. I got a huge surprise when a reader told me that you'd written about the post relating how I got into this fantastic industry.

Cheers!

Michael

I think we are at the beginning of domains actually. When you read Michael Gilmour's post about the ccTLDs stats around the world then there is still a long way to go.
