Theme Namers

http://www.filmstew.com/showArticle.aspx?ContentID=16371

Theme_namerLots of these folks out there..  Guys (and gals) who latch onto a core name (ie. 24hr, sports, shopping, weather, newyork, losangeles, hollywood, etc.) and then register tens or tens-of-thousands of names under that core theme..  Best example is Dr. Van Neeste: http://www.theregister.co.uk/2000/06/27/belgian_asks_1_5_billion/ ..  Funny sidebar, The numbers and dollar amounts which were laughable in this circa 2000 story seem strangely attainable and balanced in 2007 ...

Thank-you inflation and general, greater appreciation for domain names.
