Ok, I need help here. I always see other guys send links and then you add their pics, which is cool.. however, I know nothing of some of these guys.
How about contributors appreciation day? Tell us something about them :)

Hi 'Sports Fans'
My name is Dan Brown I am over 45, even though my personality is much younger. I worked at the race tracks in So.Cal for 14 years (from hot walker to trainer). Won a few stakes races and placed in few 'graded stakes'.
Was working for a mortgage company in 2000 when I first turned on a computer. Like most, I did not 'get' domain names and missed the boat. Registered my first domain in 2002 and then in about 2004 started to become "addicted".
Went through a long ~ long learning process...mostly from Dnforum. From 'type o's to industry specific domains. Have not made any sales over 12k. currently own about 2000+ domains. I live in Long Beach, Ca. were I kinda take care of my brother who has some what of a disability.
So, there's not much out in the world for an x-horse trainer...so it was either I learn about domains, or learn how to say "would you like that order super-sized" about 300 times a day...LOL.
I send Frank news, because I like it and want to help out with somewhat relevant information. I have never met Frank, but I think it is quite obvious that his opinions matter and his willingness to share his thoughts on the "future" of this industry is...'priceless'.
Right now, I think the next 2 - 5 years is going to bring the most dramatic change in the world of domains and search engines...and I do not want to miss it. If you have read any of my post...you know I have my own 'unique' thoughts on both domains and SE's.
I am an just a "idea guy" about the domain industry and the search industry and just looking to turn a few of these into reality.
I guess that's basically it...in a thousand words or less...LOL
Peace,
Dan

Even though I may not qualify I still wanted to thank Mr. Schilling for letting mere mortals and regular webmasters like myself to even suggest links and post comments on the blog. Frank, your friendly demeanor is greatly appreciated.
In the who-is-who of the internet I would just be another dot in the very big picture... and this is fine! My background is mostly online marketing (7 years) with a focus on search where I achieved mild successes, enough to keep me going. Mild successes may also mean one highly successfull website and another highly unsuccessfull one. Better than always being average, I guess.
In my own eyes, my largest accomplishment is having won the award for the most outstanding confection (hand-made candy) in Mississippi in 1993, which places me in the opposite side of the fence where Stanford PhD's reside. But perhaps opposites attract. And just like my hand-made candies, most of my development is still done the old fashion way. I have recently decided to test the waters in the field of domaining with the hopes of achieving a bit more than mild successes but if this isn't in my fate I will be happy to develop some new friends.
Besides this, I deeply admire Jimi Hendrix's artistic genius and Nicola Tesla's freedom of spirit and believe that life highest mission is service in *whatever* form.
Oh, I am also fully bilingual (spanish/english), have a business degree from a top college and at 45 have just become a Father. Finally!
Best of luck to everyone.
***FS*** Congratulations on fatherhood Robert! There are no kings here and I have no illusions of grandeur. In fact, I'm flattered that you are grateful to share here. It is "I" who am luck to have loyal visitors like you (and others), teaching me.. We learn from each other. Thanks again.
