... It's for the best I suppose. People want to gamble online, they might as well allow the companies taking wagers to operate (compete) from the USA where those companies can contribute to society. I think this is a much more balanced and sensible way to deal with this industry, regulation is always better than prohibition... oh and no, I do not run or have ties to a casino. :)

May be this will help to rise the price of the gambling domain name auction by Moniker in Amsterdam, will be interesting to see how much Poker.com will go for, apparently the reserve for it is over $5M
