I accidentally typed uTube.com yesterday trying to get to the YouTube site. So this is real. More reasons to own a generic, descriptive non-made up name that nobody can claim an exclusive right to use.
Thanks sincerely for the link Dan !~ :)
Well... I read this and was tempted to ask the $64,000 question: "but did you click on any links once you got there?". I believe I made the same typo awhile back, but I thought I would check out utube.com again just for kicks.
It is indeed the company site for Universal Tube & Rollform Equipment Corporation, but I had to chuckle and think to myself "chalk up another one for Frank" upon seeing the page with all the rollform equipment info pushed down to make way for a pile of links for free ringtones, etc at the top.
I wonder what percentage of Universal Tube & Rollform Equipment Corporation's income is coming from ppc compared to a year ago?
Thanks again for all the insight and inspiration from a newbie (that darn Business 2.0 article again!).

I guess that could explain why searchfeed's traffic is so horrible. Unrelated images of girls hyperlinking to PPC ads in utube.com's search.

From the link Frank provided:

it says:
"In true Midwestern fashion, the company made the best of a bad situation by adding a ringtone search engine to the site, as well as links to dating, insurance and gambling sites. These new features now pull in $1,000 a day or more, according to one report.".
